Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits (Dependent upon experience)

Our Client

An established UK engineering and fabrication business is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to develop and grow its presence within the UK water industry.

This is a senior, strategic role focused on building long鈥憈erm relationships with water companies and contractor partners, navigating framework鈥憀ed routes to market, and securing sustainable, specification鈥慸riven work in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading business development activities across various areas of construction.
• Identifying and engaging with key contractors.
• Building and maintaining senior commercial, technical and procurement relationships.
• Navigating complex agreements and approved supplier routes.
• Work closely with engineering and operational teams to assess feasibility and value.
• Represent the business professionally across meetings, sites and industry events

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Proven business development experience in a construction related environment.
• Strong understanding of specification鈥憀ed, contractor鈥慴ased sales processes.
• A strong network of contractor stakeholders.
• An ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
• A strong commercial acumen.
