The acquisition aims to support NG Bailey鈥檚 growth and give it greater access to the water infrastructure sector. The independent engineering and infrastructure company points out that AMP8 doubles investment in this sector, to 拢104bn over five years.
Sutton-In-Ashfield鈥檚 ESG has a turnover of 拢30m. It was established in 1989. Its core business is ECS Engineering Service, alongside three complementary group companies. Its expertise covers mechanical and electrical engineering, specialist steel and composite fabrication, civil engineering, and the supply of advanced water control products via exclusive European partnerships. Its key customers include the Environment Agency, Severn Trent Water, Anglian Water, Welsh Water and Yorkshire Water.
As part of NG Bailey, the existing ESG management team, brands and workforce will remain in place. It will join NG Bailey鈥檚 Built Environment division, with the aim that this will allow it to engage with existing clients.
