Total Reclaims Demolition Ltd was formed in 1994 as a partnership between father and sons which in-turn was incorporated into a limited company in 2000 and still remains family owned. Since set-up the company has gone from strength-to-strength, ultimately down to excellent work records and job-costings, which has resulted in some Clients classifying us as Approved Contractors and eliminating the tendering element of the project, therefore speeding up their re-development phase and reducing time & cost allocations.

We have proven that attaining this aim qualifies that:- "Project specifics, set by the client and the surrounding environment are incorporated at design stage" A direct line of communication between the project team from design stage and throughout the duration of the project ensures that any changes or unforeseen issues (as is common due to the nature of demolition) are controlled and agreed directly and to the satisfaction of all parties. By working as a team our operatives fully understand the work-tasks and the requirement of the client leading to a safe working environment.

Demolition & Dismantling: All aspects of demolition and dismantling are carried out on a nationwide basis. Each project is assessed on it's own merit with hazards identified and incorporated into site control. Written methods of works are prepared for all activities in line with current legislation. Demolition of structures from garage's to industrial complex buildings are done in line with BS6187:2000 & Construction (Design & Management) Regulations. Total Reclaims have worked on projects such as Fire Damaged Structures; Facade Retention; High-Rise City Centre Demolition; Hospitals and Schools.

Refurbishment: Where structural demolition is not an option (due to preservation orders etc) or redevelopment works require utilising the main fabric of the building we are able to provide a bespoke 'strip-out' option. This inculdes major strip-outs; Removal of furniture; Removal of abandoned trade waste; Strip out of M&E\'s; Partition Removal; Floor removal; Joist Removal; Roof Removal; Installation of propping systems - tri-shores Acro etc. Whilst demolition is, by it's very nature a hazardous industry, 99% of projects are further complicated by residual materials left either by past processes or forming part of the fabric of the building. We can offer a full identification removal service in accordance with the Hazardous Waste 2005 & Duty of Care Regulations. This inculdes Type 3 asbestos surveys carried out by licenced surveyor; Bat Surveys - carried out by licenced ecologist; Registration of site to the Environmental Agency - as per the Hazardous Waste Regs 2005; Removal of hazardous materials inculding Asbestos; Hypodermic Needles; Pigeon Faeces; Excavation and removal of contaminated ground.
