The Faraday Centre is an electrical training centre based in North East of England. Training courses are delivered to a wide range of UK based and International clients, in subjects covering all aspects of the electrical industry. The Faraday Centre have specialised in High Voltage course for over 16 years and has recently added domestic and low voltage courses to the range of courses offered.

Low Voltage training courses are delivered in 16th Edition Wiring Regulations - City & Guilds 2381 courses, Inspection Testing & Certification - City & Guilds 2391courses, Part P, EAL Level 2 Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers courses, Portable Appliance Testing and many more. The Faraday Centre is also a registered training provider with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors, and runs a range of NICEIC approved training courses including, Technical Update, Certificate, Inspection and Testing and Domestic Installer Scheme Qualifications.

High Voltage courses cover a wide variety of subjects including, Safe Operation of Electrical Power Systems, Protection of High Voltage Systems, a wide range of Testing courses which cover, Transformer Testing, Earth Testing, Electrical Pressure Testing, and a number of Refresher courses designed for the more experienced engineer.

Marine Electrical Systems are also catered for, with adapted courses which cover Marine and Offshore High Voltage Safety.

Training courses covering Programmable Logical Controllers, PLC's also have calendar dates throughout the year.

All standard electrical training courses run on scheduled dates throughout the year, however customised electrical training can be arranged to suit specific requirements. New course material can be written to create bespoke training courses or standard courses can be modified or combined and scheduled to run on dates to suit the busy requirements of the modern business client.

As part of our international expansion, we have set up a new training centre in Limassol, Cyprus in 2006, Thomas-Faraday Training Ltd Cyprus is an associated company of The Faraday Centre UK. Located in the centre of Limassol, the 6000 square feet training facility offers a wide range of 'hands-on' practical electrical training.
