We have developed into a dynamic, successful company providing huge stocks of tanks, drums and fittings throughout the UK and parts of Europe. This, combined with the expertise and knowledge we have garnered over the years makes us the go-to company for tanks and drums, both new and recycled. We operate out of 2 depots in Gloucestershire where you are welcome to call in and collect or we can deliver nationwide.

We are still an independently owned family business, becoming a limited company in 1999. Our friendly staff are ready to help and provide the best service and products to our customers. They are on the end of a telephone or email ready to answer your questions. Emails are usually answered same-day or within 24 hours at the latest.

Most of the items you see on our website will be stock items unless they are bespoke. We can ship out quickly if you need it and can offer same day dispatch if you contact us by 11am. We also offer next day delivery options on many tanks.

This means we are usually able to keep our loyal customers happy when supplychain issues cause a problem. We have longstanding relationships with excellent suppliers of industrial standard products. They know our requirements and we make sure we don’t let you down.

Based in the West Country we are committed to good practice and environmental values, looking for sustainable solutions. We have been at the forefront of environmental issues having been responsibly sourcing and recycling tanks and drums for decades.

Current customers include many constructions companies but also film companies and it is true to say that we were quite excited to see some of our recycled products being blown up on the big screen. We have supplied Jason Bourne, Skyfall, Les Misérables and Doctor Who among many others.

Smiths of the Forest of Dean Ltd hold a Waste Carriers Licence and an Environmental Permit Exemption which is registered with the Environment Agency. We hold a recycling licence as a metal merchant too.
