CheckedSafe was developed to provide simple and inexpensive compliance solution that could be tailored to any industry. Together with our dedicated team, we are now providing compliance services across several platforms specifically, ALL commercial and plant hire vehicles.

Checkedsafe was created by:

Gary Hawthorne Co-Founder, Director - A Transport specialist with over 30 year’s experience at, Local and National Government (including overseas) and as owner Operator of a successful commercial operation.

A Fellow of the CILT, a Fellow of the SOE and fellow of IRTE, a DVSA Accredited Auditor and Commercial Mediator.

Darran Harris Co Founder, Director - A Solicitor and Commercial Mediator with over 25 years experience specialising in Litigation (specifically Road Traffic Issues) and Employment law.

Darran has worked with major logistics companies and large blue-chip clients dealing with Litigation, Compliance and Road Traffic Incidents. Darran has successfully represented clients at Public Enquiries with Gary Hawthorne. A Fellow of the CILT and Commercial Mediator

CheckedSafe is a SaaS platform and has developed Apps with a web-based reporting system that is multi-functional and secure. The system offers complete solutions, which enables clients to manage and protect their workforce and comply with legal and commercial requirements whilst reducing cost and liability.

Why Checkedsafe? Historically commercial DVSA vehicle checks were completed on paper, which is time consuming, inefficient and expensive. CheckedSafe App is simple to use and fully replaces paper. The driver can carry out the check, report a defect, take photos, add notes and submit the results in real time from the App.

All defects will automatically generate a report which will be sent to your line manager or administrator for further action. Checkedsafe stores all data which can be downloaded in PDF or excel format for further analysis

Geo Tagging

The App uses the GPS on the mobile device to pin -point location when the daily walk around check is completed. The map location is included in the resulting report.

Bespoke Checklist

We have several DVSA standard checklist’s however, all checks can be made bespoke. In fact, a checklist can be created for anything

No Signal-No Problem

Checks can be conducted regardless of wi-fi connection or phone signal. All checks are stored on the device and uploaded automatically to the online portal when the driver is in signal area

Platform Availability

Designed for All Android and Apple mobile devices, and is also available on the TomTom platform

Tamper Proof

Once data is recorded on the App, it cannot be altered in any way as it is a fully secured service.

Monitor Movement

We use the mobile device’s motion sensors to track the driver’s movements as they undertake the check, which ensures that the check is being completed accurately and you can see the driver moving around the vehicle.
