Pre-acquisition Building Surveys

We carry out in depth inspections of all types of buildings - from modern state of the art commercial and residential buildings to medieval manor houses and agricultural buildings. The survey is carried out to suit individual client requirements and a comprehensive report provided.

Party Wall Surveyors

Regularly appointed to act as Party Wall Surveyors by building owners to serve or respond to notices, prepare condition schedules and Party Wall Awards where construction is taking place against or adjacent to neighbouring property.

Project & Construction Management

We have considerable experience in designing complete commercial and residential projects either in house or assembling a project team and managing them for projects from inception through to completion. We act on behalf of lending institutions to monitor and report on the progress and quality of construction projects thereby ensuring that the lenders are fully appraised at regular intervals.

Dilapidations & Schedules of Condition

We provide advice to Landlords of commercial buildings in respect of repair issues both during the currency of leases and the end in order to maintain asset value. At lease end we will advise on any disrepair issues and prepare terminal schedules of dilapidations, monitor any repairs or negotiate settlements.

We also act for tenants in settling dilapidations, where required supervising repairs, ensuring that the tenant does not inherit unnecessary liability for repair.

Expert Witness

With many years experience in construction and surveying disciplines our Directors and senior Chartered Surveyors are recognised as Expert Witnesses in construction related matters and boundary disputes. Reports are prepared in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and the protocol of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Insurance Valuations & Claims

We prepare building insurance reinstatement valuations for building owners and also act on behalf of claimants in preparing and settling claims and managing reinstatement works.
