Scope

Description

West Oxfordshire District Council (鈥渢he Council鈥�) requires the provision of services for the collection, haulage, and recycling of approximately 1,800 tonnes per annum (TPA) of glass packaging material.

The material will be made available at a designated Transfer Station in West Oxfordshire (currently Downs Road, Witney), which is operated and managed by the Council鈥檚 appointed waste service contractor.

The Council may, at its discretion, require the Contractor to manage an additional volume of up to 1,500 TPA, which should be priced as an optional element.

Description of possible extension:

The initial term of the Contract shall be two (2) years, with an option for the Authority to extend for up to a further three (3) years in successive periods of twelve (12) months (2 + 1 + 1 + 1), subject to satisfactory performance and ongoing business requirements.
