Description
Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is looking to appoint a sole supplier for the provision of Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to support the development of a new special school in Wrexham for pupils with additional learning needs. This project represents a significant investment in specialist education provision within the County and is being progressed through the Welsh Government鈥檚 Sustainable Communities for Learning programme.
The Council has completed RIBA Stage 2 design development, supported by an indicative cost plan, and now seeks experienced and capable suppliers to lead the project through the next stages of design, procurement, construction, and handover. The appointed team will work closely with the Council鈥檚 Strategic Project Team, internal stakeholders, external partners, and Welsh Government representatives to ensure the successful delivery of this important scheme.

Options
The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.
WCBC may require the successful Contractor to undertake Principal Designer Services in the future, where such services are required as part of the project. This will be in addition to the Project Management and Quantity Surveying services.
At the time of tender WCBC does not guarantee that there will be a requirement for Principal Designer Services and does not guarantee that the successful Contractor will be offered/asked to undertake any Principal Designer Services.
WCBC may appoint a third party to undertake Principal Designer Services at its sole discretion.
At the time of tender all Tenderers should submit their offering and pricing based off the published documents, not the possibility of being offered any Principal Designer Services.
