Description

The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is procuring a Value Added Reseller (VAR) Framework to support the supply of technology hardware, software and associated services across the organisation. The Framework will appoint two Suppliers who will be responsible for delivering the goods, services and (where required) minor works needed to maintain operational readiness and meet the Authority's technology requirements.

1. Goods

Suppliers will be required to provide the full range of technology hardware and software commonly used by the MPS and Specialist Policing Function.

2. Services

Suppliers must deliver Core Services under the Framework as set out in the statement of requirements.

3. Amount / Volume

Exact volumes will vary over the life of the Framework and will be confirmed at Call鈥慜ff stage.

Suppliers must be able to scale supply in line with MPS demand and maintain continuity of supply throughout the Framework.

Competitive Flexible Procedure - Process Overview

The Authority will run a Competitive Flexible Procedure comprising multiple stages, including qualification, tendering, clarification rounds and final supplier selection. The procedure will follow the steps below. The Authority reserves the right to amend the procedure, timelines, requirements, or documentation at any stage, where necessary and proportionate.

1. Request to Participate

31/03/2026: UK4 Request to Participate Notice published on the Find a Tender Service.

Access to the Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ) and Invitation to Participate is granted once Bidders submit completed Ethical Walls Agreements (EWA) (where applicable), Non鈥慏isclosure Agreements (NDA) and Non鈥慍anvassing and Restricted Contact Declaration.

2. PSQ Stage

14/04/2026: Deadline for PSQ clarification questions.

21/04/2026: Authority issues PSQ clarification responses.

30/04/2026: Deadline for Bidder submission of PSQ and Financial Viability Risk Assessment Template (FVRAT) (where applicable).

22/05/2026: Notification of PSQ outcomes and down鈥憇election.
