Scope
Description
IDS seeks to appoint a single scaffolding contractor to provide safe, compliant, and responsive scaffolding and temporary access services across its residential property portfolio. The scope includes design (where TG20 compliance is not applicable), erection, hire, inspection, adaptation, dismantling, and related protection measures for planned works, responsive repairs, emergency make-safe activity, and minor ad鈥慼oc roofing/gutter repairs delivered by the appointed contractor's operatives. Services must comply with TG20:21, BS EN 12811, and the Work at Height Regulations, and be delivered within occupied residential environments with robust resident protection, customer care, and performance reporting. The contract term is 2 years with an option to extend by 1 year, subject to satisfactory performance and agreement.

Description of possible extension:
The Contract may be extended for a further period of up to one year beyond the initial term. Any extension will be at the sole discretion of the Client and will only be granted where the Contractor's performance during the initial contract period has been assessed as satisfactory. The Client will confirm any decision to extend the Contract in writing before the end of the initial term, and all terms and conditions of the Contract will remain unchanged during the extension period unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

Award criteria
The contract will be awarded to the tenderer that achieves the highest overall score following evaluation. Submissions will be assessed using a weighted evaluation model comprising 40% quality and 60% price. Quality will be evaluated against the published quality questions and scoring criteria, and price will be evaluated based on the total tendered cost. Each tenderer's quality and price scores will be combined to determine their final weighted score. The bidder with the highest total weighted score will be recommended for award.
