Scope
Description
Construction of highway junction improvement works at the A2 High Street / Mierscourt Road junction, Rainham.
The works comprise junction capacity improvements, pedestrian and bus stop accessibility enhancements, removal of traffic islands, upgraded traffic signals, resurfacing and block paving works, street lighting upgrades, drainage improvements, and soft landscaping.
The Contract will be let as an NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) Option A (Priced Contract with Activity Schedule), using the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (September 2025).
