Description

Ceredigion County Council is seeking to procure the services of a qualified and experienced supplier to provide specialist museum display technician services for use within Ceredigion Museum, Aberystwyth.

This tender aims to appoint a supplier with practical expertise in woodworking, fabrication and decorative works to support the planning, fabrication and installation of permanent museum displays within an historic building. The successful supplier will contribute to display planning, produce bespoke three-dimensional display elements such as object mounts, plinths and display furniture, advise on materials and specifications, and assist museum staff with installation works, ensuring all activities meet current Health and Safety standards and good museum practice.

The estimated value is between 拢8,000 and 拢12,000 for the full term of the contract. Please note that the contract value provided within this notice represents an estimate prepared by the Council. It is issued for guidance only and does not constitute a fixed budget or an indication of the expected contract price. Bidders are expected to submit a competitive bid based on market prices.
