The full order comprises 18 one-tonne Hi-Tips, four 2.3t Power Swivels, five 3t Power Swivels, and four 6t ROPS+ Power Swivels, alongside the eight newly launched machines, some of the first to be delivered in the UK.
ROPS+ offers protection to the operator with its wrap around steel frame. It featues a pull down roll bar and triple lock motion inhibiter, ensuring the machine will start but not drive until the operator is in the seat, with their belt fastened, and the overhead bar locked in place. Thwaites says it has ensured smart mechanisms are in place to stop any workarounds.
WHC Services owner James Clutterbuck said, “We have a long and successful relationship with Thwaites, we appreciate the quality and robustness of the engineering, and our customers appreciate the reliability of working with the best dumper on the market.”
The deal was facilitated by Lister Wilder area sales manager, Richard North, who said “I would like to thank James and WHC for their continued loyalty, both of whom are a pleasure to deal with. WHC always recognise the value of quality and understand the true cost of ownership of construction equipment.”
