Crofton is a specialist in structural steelwork, architectural metalwork, and fire training infrastructure, based in Linton, Cambridgeshire. Strabag said that the deal represents a significant step in strengthening capabilities within structural steelwork and architectural metalwork while also adding specialist expertise in full turnkey solutions for fire training buildings and training towers.
The business will continue to operate from its existing premises in Linton under the Crofton name and retain its senior management team for continuity.
