Heritage Fields will deliver a mix of 82 private and six affordable homes, and form part of a wider masterplan designed to support the growth of Sittingbourne.

The design of the homes mixes old and new, taking inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement while incorporating air source heat pumps and underfloor heating.

Barratt Redrow announced that it will commit over 拢10m under section 106 obligations to support the wider community in Sittingbourne, which will be used on local infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth services projects.

Luke Cooper, managing director at Redrow South East comments: 鈥淏reaking ground at Heritage Fields is an important milestone for our team and the Sittingbourne community. We know how important it is that new developments provide much-needed homes and deliver meaningful benefits for the local community.

鈥淗eritage Fields has been carefully designed to create a well-balanced neighbourhood, with generous green spaces, new community facilities and infrastructure that will support both new and existing residents. We鈥檙e proud to be investing in the area and look forward to seeing this new community take shape over the coming years.鈥
