The value of Lend Lease's contract is a full 拢30m below the initial 拢130m estimate.
Lend Lease will start work straight away to construct 25 new buildings and refurbish eight existing ones.The work will enable two signal regiments to relocate from Germany to Beacon Barracks聽鈥� 6 Signal Regiment currently based in Elmpt and 1 Armoured Division Signal Regiment1 based in Herford will relocate to the UK in the summer of 2015.
During the redevelopment the site will continue to be home to 22 Signal Regiment and the Tactical Supply Wing (RAF).
