The largest of these was for an office extension at 20 Old Bailey in London, which is valued at 拢55 million. ISG鈥檚 monthly tally was further boosted by a 拢44m fit-out contract at Imperial College London.

Education-based contract awards were also partly responsible for Willmott Dixon鈥檚 second place in the monthly league table. It won 16 contracts worth a combined 拢130.3m, including a 拢30m contract to build Kingston University a new library, dance studio and auditorium.

Carillion took third position with 14 contracts totalling 拢125.3m. A newcomer to the BCLive Top 10, GMI Construction, claimed fourth position, thanks to a single 拢100m mixed-use development contract for Scarborough Group International in Leeds.

The Top 50 in the BCLive league collectively booked nearly 拢2.57bn during August, of which 拢1.05bn was in the housing sector and 拢477m in education.

The full table will be in the September issue of magazine, which will be out next week.
