The contracts for Qatar Public Works Authority involve the 聽design and construction of tunnels with a combined contract value of approximately 鈧�550m, of which Bouygues Travaux Publics鈥� share is 聽roughly 鈧�285m. The north section (MTS01) will be 16km long and 3m wide. The south section (MTS03) will be 14km long and 4.5m wide.

The contracts are part of the Inner Doha Resewerage Implementation Strategy (Idris), a project to cater for population growth by redesigning and expanding the system.
Handover is scheduled for 2019.
