Established in 1845, Furness Brick is an independent family-run brick manufacturer specialising in the production of traditional pressed, clamp and hand-made facing bricks and pavers. The utilisation of the locally won Cumbrian Ordovician shale, which is burnt in coal fired kilns, results in a unique range of products that display a quality and charm seldom found in modern bricks.

Whilst many manufacturers can only offer a standard range of 'off the shelf' products, Furness brick can produce a wide range of bespoke colours and blends. We are also constantly striving to reproduce bricks to match those from the past.

The bricks shown on this website are just a small selection of our ever-increasing product range. We can also blend together any of our ranges to create an infinite number of blends. Our bricks are available in various metric and imperial sizes, and we can also make specific sizes to order.
