B.J. Waters (Transport) Ltd is a family run haulage business, dating back to the early 1920's. Based at two depots within the Midlands, the company runs a fleet of fifty vehicles, specialising in bulk tipper movements throughout the U.K. and Europe. The majority of these vehicles are based at the head office two miles north of Matlock, still at the original depot. The remainder of these vehicles are based at a smaller depot located near to Telford, which was acquired by the company in 1972.

Between the two depots there are around sixty employees, again with the majority based at the Matlock depot. On average the company transports over 2000 tonnes through imports and exports each week within Europe, and also transports over 1500 tonnes daily within the United Kingdom.

B.J. Waters (Transport) Ltd has the experience, reliability and offers competitive rates to provide an unequalled haulage service throughout the United Kingdom and Europe .

Our operation also includes extensive garage facilities, including a new purpose built workshop fitted with a brake testing unit. This enables us to maintain and M.O.T. prepare not only our own vehicles, but also outside contract vehicles, to a high standard. We also have modern welding equipment for both aluminium and steel repairs.

With the company owning more trailers than motor vehicles it also offers the option of trailer hire. Customers are given the opportunity of hiring a trailer if loading will take longer than normal. This service is highly welcomed by some of our customers as it means the drivers just have to exchange trailers and no one is delayed in the process.
